If you’ve never had Tennessee onions, bless your heart! Sweet onions bake in butter and gooey cheese until they’re golden, bubbly, and downright sinful. The perfect side to complement steak, chicken, burgers, or your favorite BBQ.

The Side That Steals the Show
- Cheesy Perfection: A gooey mix of cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan makes every bite rich and irresistible.
- Sweet and Savory Flavor: The natural sweetness of baked onions meets buttery, seasoned goodness.
- Effortless Comfort Food: Simple ingredients and minimal prep for a side that tastes like it took all day.
Tennessee Onion Ingredients

- Type of Onion: Use a sweet variety of onion for this dish. Sweet Vidalia onions, Walla Walla, Maui, or Texas sweet onions all work great.
- How to Cut: Cut onions evenly into 1/4-inch slices, separate the rings so the onions get seasoned on all sides, and cook evenly.
- Cheesy Goodness: I use a mix of cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, but feel free to use your favorite cheeses. Gouda or Gruyère would be great in this!
